Love the two QB pickups...but that QB room is getting crowded! Kare is gone but we still have Stone, Baker, Stone N., Devries, and Zebrowski. We are adding Simmons and Lindauer...so I guess I would expect a transfer or two more coming from that position before the season starts unless someone is converting to another position.

I think you guys forgot Jakob Foss. He is a pretty highly touted freshman coming in. That is 8 QB's! Something has to give and I'm sure we will lose several before the start of the season in August. I wouldn't count on the two FBS transfers being very far down on the depth chart. You don't bring in FBS transfers to sit, unless they are a total bust. Good problem to have.

I really liked Baker too sans the second half of the North Dakota game (if he was a few inches taller he would have been a D1 QB). I agree Hill didn’t bring two D1 transfers in to ride the pine, but they will definitely have to earn it.
I honestly think the biggest factor is going to be the abbreviated offseason. Stone N. Was at least able to practice in the spring and learn the offense. Unless Lindauer is able to learn really quickly I think it is a three horse race going in to next season (Stone x 2 and Baker). This is definitely a good problem to have.

I wouldn’t be surprised at all to see Norton as QB1 at the end of Fall camp. I think the two you mentioned probably have the most raw talent, but Lindauer is going to have to pick up a lot over the summer. I still feel like Stone L. will go in to camp QB1 unless he transfers. I’m excited to see it play out!

He looks like more of a blocking tight end. Didn't really play during his years at Memphis, but maybe the drop in level will make a difference. Probably has the tools if he gets the chance.
