SIU played well, and played poorly, they played great, and played disastrously. SIU covered the entire field of possibilities, but they never gave up. I'm a firm believer that athletics cannot build character, but is an excellent way to bring forth the existing essence of a good man.

Does anyone out there track commits for all teams in the Valley? I'd love to see where SIU ranks. It feels like Hill is recruiting at a high level but it's hard to know for sure without seeing what other top Valley programs are pulling in.

When can all the guys that have verbaled sign? From what I'm seeing on the NCAA website the signing period runs through August 1st. Usually Nick will have a press conference and discuss all the new signings, so it makes me think maybe these guys haven't signed yet? I was hopeful, especially for the new QBs, they would get on the roster in time for summer workouts.
Edit: I guess they could be signed but the roster isn't updated.

Huge get for D Line!!!! Nick Hill has been busy bringing in much needed immediate impact help to our defense, by far our biggest need!
RB Donovan Spencer was 1st team All Con in the Southern Conference last year!
Also excited to see Pop Jones, the Navy recruit. Lot of talent in our RB group.
