He looks like the real deal... Seems like our type of recruit but a step up in talent. Very exciting.https://twitter.com/hustlesports_/status/1628216196809035776
We saw him in O'Fallon IL. His defense IS for real. Complete player for HS. Prototypical skills set for Mullins player with offensive upside at the SF. Vashon's offense goes through him and he brings the ball up the floor quite a bit too. Could be a point forward ala Marcus Timmons.
I would love to see Marcus and Lance stay and then incorporate Davis, Foster and Ebube more with the minutes vacated by Newton, Trent and Mulia.... Not to hijack a 2023 recruiting thread, but I would be quite surprised if FW comes back. Plenty of teams looking for a shooter with potential that isn't skilled on the defensive end.
I think Foster Wonders will be back.
His grandma being upset that he doesn't play does not mean he definitely wont come backA lot of things pointing to him probably not coming back. I won't go into details, but if you follow saluki athletics social media you may see some clues.I think Foster Wonders will be back.
I sure hope so but I’m afraid you are probably incorrect

His body language on the bench doesn't look great. I'm sure he's frustrated right now, but most of his competition will likely be gone next year in Brown and Newton (at least for now, who knows after recruiting). Like it or not, Mullins does not seem to be willing to compromise on defense for offense and that has to be where he's weak right now (we've seen it in spurts when he does get playing time). Lord knows we've needed help on knocking down open looks. If he does stay, I'm sure his minutes would go up next year.
I agree with FW body language on the bench. I try to catch every game on ESPN 3 or +, and I haven't seen him look happy since the first couple games. Even when his team is doing well, including last night.
I can't imagine the hit your ego must take when you're scoring 36 points per game in HS, then get to the next level and you can't sniff any playing time. We have all wondered what level of competition he played against in HS, I guess we know the answer.
Having said that, I am hoping he has it in him to bust his ass on the defensive side and do what's necessary to break into the rotation next year.
If not then he may be already looking for another school. We'll see.
I saw a glimpse of what he could be in one of the early season games and I hope he stays.

It's disappointing he scored 11 against Indiana State in the loss and then didn't get much run in the Alcorn State, Lincoln, Chicago State, SEMO run of games which basically torpedoed his season.
I am the biggest Foster Wonders fan out there. I want him to stay. As was said his body language is so bad.
His body language hasn’t been great and I have no doubt he’s unhappy about riding the bench after a redshirt year but … I also get the sense some of it is his personality. I think he’s the quiet, stoic type, so I cut him a little slack (though I wish he’d force a few more smiles).
I would like to see him back … great shooters can be a lot of fun.
