I follow college basketball pretty damn closely but I was blown away at how good Utah Valley was: seemed to come out of nowhere. They won three freakin' NIT games before losing by two to UAB.
Not saying it's likely to be this guy, but it would be awesome for Southern to land someone they're not supposed to be able to get at some point. Going to be a fascinating 4-6 weeks ahead ... hopefully in a good way.
We will not get this guy but the staff has alway tried to get bigger and better players. The staff works really hard at recruiting but has come up empty in most spring signings.

I’m hoping some of it was having Domask & Jones on the roster. Really hard to sell transfers on SIU when you have two ball dominant players on your team already. Right now, SIU has a lot to sell with playing time and scoring. Not saying we should be getting Harmon but I’m hoping they land someone they wouldn’t have the past few years.
Harmon is the exact type of player we need to move this program forward. We need long athletic guards.

We’re in the Final 8 for 6-9 Forward from NAIA Jamestown. Averaged 26.6 PPG, 9.4 RPG. Sort of looks like a Marcus Domask clone on video. My only problem is only one year of eligibility and I think the transition for NAIA to the MVC is a bit much. I’d prefer it more if he had more than one year left.
On video this guy looks very skilled…shooting, mobility and jumping. Just wondering why he stayed in NAIA the last two years.
He looks skilled, can dribble and shoot. For those looking to go "big" looks like he can play the 4 or 5 depending upon matchups. I believe he was NAIA player of the year. I would definitely take him, his production would probably depend upon how quickly he could adjust to the speed and skill of D1/MVC type players.
Be nice to beat out Drake and Bradley for a transfer. Regarding him being a grad transfer, that doesn't bother me as I think X is the only player we are currently scheduled to lose next year. He looks like a scorer and we sure need that!
If schools like Bradley, Drake, and Furman want him then I think he'd be a good addition for next year.
