6-4 Junior out of Chicago. Averaged 14 PPG, 3.8 RPG, 2.9 APG. Has an Illinois offer alreadyI follow college basketball pretty damn closely but I was blown away at how good Utah Valley was: seemed to come out of nowhere. They won three freakin' NIT games before losing by two to UAB.
Not saying it's likely to be this guy, but it would be awesome for Southern to land someone they're not supposed to be able to get at some point. Going to be a fascinating 4-6 weeks ahead ... hopefully in a good way.
That was a really good team - would have won the MVC probably. Beat New Mexico, Colorado, and Cincy to get to the championship but lost in OT. Won the WAC regular season title. Their coach was hired away by CAL.
Harmon, 6'4" guard, was their best player. They also had a 7' center who actually got to play 30 minutes a game!
