How many scholarships do we have available for 2023? Domask, Jones, Brown, Harvey, Verplancken, and Muila will be Seniors but can obviously return for a 5th year because of the extra COVID year. Would they count as a scholarship still like they did this year (D'Avanzo didn't count). If so, the staff might be working with 6 scholarships.
Harvey can probably get a medical redshirt for last year if they request one and might still be a Junior, if he's still coming back and playing basketball.

"Even after a monster junior year in which Smith 22.2 points per game at Sussex Hamilton High School (WI), he has only continued to grow from there. To date, Louisiana Monroe is the lone offer for Smith. Though this may change soon as he has a very long list of visits scheduled soon. In the coming weeks he will be taking visits to Austin Peay, Belmont, Illinois State, Lipscomb, Southern Illinois, Tennessee State, and Tennessee Tech."
Brock Harding just received an offer from Rice. That can't be good....

I’ll bite: what’s the big deal about Rice?

Not a great basketball program but Rice has great academics. He has offers to Loyola, Saint Louis, Colorado State that are probably more scary basketball-wise. I still fear the Iowa schools including Drake given his proximity to them.
Like SalukiWorld said, Rice is a great academic school. Most of the kids there got 35-36 on their ACTs (or whatever the equivalent is these days). I hate to say it, but if he has the grades & test scores, he should absolutely go there.
