right now Trent is looking at playing 25-30 minutes a game he is one of two scholarship guards on our roster. I am sure we will sign a few more but the reality is he is coming back because he anticipates having a bigger role on our team otherwise after graduating last December why would he return for a 5th year? Even though by all accounts Trent is a great kid not sure how much he would advocate for basically someone to take his job.
If Trent plays 25-30 minutes a game, we're in trouble.
I don't think many, if any, would disagree with you but the KEY to that post was "right now". After the dust settles and our team is finalized, Trent will NOT be asked to play that much. His most important role, in my opinion, will be to guide the new Salukis to our standards, traditions and best places to eat. : ) Just remember one thing, HE CHOSE TO STAY AND WANTS TO BE HERE and, right now, we are a better team because of it.
And yes I once had a teacher who had conceived of my final grade before I took the final exam, on which I had a B+. Took exception to my addressing him as Dr. Yousuck I guess. (not SIU)

@salukiworld I like Miller. He would be a great fit.
Have to remember the Southland is a huge step down even from a bad Valley last year. I'm disappointed in the quality of guards we're recruiting given the massive holes we have. I think Miller would be a decent bench piece though if that's the role we're recruiting him for.
I'm telling you, stay confident. Players like this are still out there. He would provide scoring and still have 3 years. I know we're ALL anxious to get a signee but I'd rather wait and get 2-3 REALLY good players than just fill out the roster quickly.
