Don't know what their guard situation looks like or how many scholarships they have left but I don't expect Sharp to get many minutes at any of the big places after him (SIU, St. Bonaventure, Wyoming) his first year, if he gets any at all. I think being close to home gives SIU a slight edge here but the A-10/Mountain West is pretty appealing and St. Bonaventure and Wyoming have had success recently.

I haven’t seen any of his videos, but have read good things about this kid from multiple sources, but I wonder what to make of the lack of bigger offers both out of high school and from the portal. Did he just fall through the cracks?
@saluki44 he’s coming out of high school. He just decommitted from where he initially signed. He looks like a great defender and athletic. Very thin though. I could see him redshirting. Our guard play is going to be horrible this year tho. Xavier and Miller are the only somewhat proven guards that we have. I can’t believe we’ve struggled so bad to find guards. Hopefully they’ll surprise me and land an impressive one in the next week or so

I wonder if they have any interest in Tanner Holden, shooting guard leaving Ohio State. He played at Wright State prior to his one year at Ohio State and had very good offensive stats with Wright State. He would be a one year player which may not be what they are looking for.
