That's true, I remember that "lightning game" well. However, we made the playoffs last year and they didn't. We are picked to have similar good teams this year. My point is that at this point it's looking like a lateral move at best. Maybe he was looking for more NIL money. Yeah when he originally transferred it sounded like he was going to be closer to family but this doesn't really make sense if that's why he entered. I guess we'll probably never really know why

I've got a friend, I spoke to yesterday, whose son plays for a power 5 school. What his school, and I'm sure all are, is doing now is not only filling out their alloted 85 schollys, but they are promising NIL money to other guys in the amount of, in effect, getting a scholly. His son didn't know how many guys on his team are getting NIL money in the amount of a scholly, but he guessed it was a couple dozen. That's about a million dollars extra to keep extra players away from your competitors.
And Nick Hill has to beg for as many $25/month NIL contributions as he can get so his players can get the necessities they need.
We officially are in crazy town. Coach Nick Saban was smart to get out when he did.
