Just wanted a separate thread for the seniors to show appreciation for their commitment to this team and university (outside the critique of the game). These guys made a lot of sacrifices (some for one year…some for 6+!) for this team and fan base.
Regardless of the outcome of the games, these guys represented themselves and this university with class. Congratulations to all and good luck in your futures! Once a Saluki, always a Saluki!

Nic Baker took a lot of crap this year but he played a hell of a game last night. Sucks it ended with an interception but he played well enough to win.
Ro Elliott was awesome all year when healthy, big time difference maker.
D'Ante Cox fought his entire career through injuries, absolute warrior.
You guys were much better than any football team during my tenure at SIU, and we had a guy named Jim Hart as our QB. Good luck in your future endeavors.
