Has Isaiah Foster committed somewhere else from Quincy?
He is still available. He had offers from Tulane and DePaul out of high school. Foster is from the same high school as Drew Steffe in Frisco, TX. KK Robinson PG from Arkansas- Little Rock is still available. 4* out of high school. Started out at Arkansas, transferred to Texas A&M then Little Rock. Averaged 15.6 PPG. Followed by Mamon on X(Twitter) that may or not mean anything (Nash was too.)Has Isaiah Foster committed somewhere else from Quincy?
@saluki-4-life Agreed. Making them play out of position will not work. Could get by with it for small spurts but we have to find a starting pg.
Just my gut feeling, but I think Nagy and SIU are gonna land a PG that's gonna make us all very happy. I have a lot of confidence after seeing what they've put together so far, and they can make quite a sales pitch to get a good one.
--Insert something witty here--
Not saying i wouldn't like a proven PG, but there was a lot of talk on this board last year about how Sharp was a future stud PG, so if we don't find someone else, i don't think its out of the realm of possibilities that he gets a shot at it, unless that opinion has changed. If the guy can handle the ball and distribute, i say give him a shot.
We aimed pretty high for Nash. I think we will still get a solid pure pg with experience.
Somebody get a wellness check in on Saluki_4_Life.
Come on man, let it go. We’re all ecstatic to have Davis back. Leave it at that.
I too am pumped.
After coming on here and gloating every time things looked bleak, trashing our new Head Coach, calling our AD a liar, and saying we wouldn't even be able to field a team....now you're pumped? Yeah, whatever.
Consider me very concerned about your opinion. I do not care.
It's not opinion. It's all stuff you actually did.
Seems like Wicks might get the Wyoming job and Monaghan is mentioned as a possible replacement
Has anyone heard if there were any visits this weekend from transfers or recruits?
I am guessing with many spring semesters ending that official visits for transfers may pick up. I think there will be a ton of commitments between now and the end of May, so hopefully we have some visits scheduled.
Don't know about visits this weekend, but Ali Dibba, the 6-4 guard from Abilene Christian, was supposed to announce his choice right about now (visited SIU about 10 days ago and since has visited Drake). As far as I can tell, he hasn't announced yet. Given the players at the wing we've added since then, along with keeping Davis, not sure he'd be a priority signing anymore. But the video of him was impressive and he looks like he'd be a solid addition.

Sundance bolted.
Option 1 (most likely): Ebube follows coach to an even more glamorous locale, windblown Wyoming, plays in Mountain West (though for likely losing team) and maybe even gets NIL bump
Option 2 (somewhat likely): Sticks with Frozen Phoenix, especially if Monaghan stays on staff there
Option 3 (longshot): Ebube reopens commitment. And if that’s the case …. last I looked SIU still has a starting spot open at the 5 and he could regain fan favorite status quickly.
This kid looks like he could be a real steal. Can not only shoot lights out, but could also take the point on and distribute the ball. When you shoot 49% from 3pt range at ANY level, it is impressive. I'd be ecstatic if he chose SIU !!!
Any news on Dibba?
