To be fair, it more has to do with Mullins graduating from the same HS as me two years after I did.
Like i said, I'll probably get over it. Especially if the early results in recruiting translate to results on the court.
If I may correct you........................ "when the early results in recruiting translate to results on the court and in the standings". : )
With the roster we have now assembled, I don't think we're going to miss Troy D'Amico too much. 😉
Who ? 😉 🤣
In all seriousness, what do y'all feel are realistic expectations?
(And I feel like realistic expectations now are much higher than they were when we hired Nagy, I feel like at that point they were "hopefully we're not in last place in the conference next year")
I think top half is a reasonable expectation.
It’s early folks. New players, new coach, new system. Will see how they blend together and become a team. Lots of alleged talent. Now it’s just a matter of time to see if Nagy can blend them into a team that can compete. A team that will have to blend and compete with the rest of the league.
But I feel like Nagy has significantly improved expectations for next year since he was hired.
Maybe we don't live up to expectations next year but I feel like it's way more likely than not we're top 200 in D1 which seemed unlikely when like the entire roster entered the portal after Mullins was fired.
Obviously, we're going to miss XJ. But top-to-bottom, I think we already have a better roster than last year.
@rockin-dawg yep I think x would be the only reason last years team would beat this one. But if he didn’t score 20 plus points I’d give this years team the edge
We have a new team this year last year is over stop comparing players it's over for the love of God let it go focus on the future not the past
COSIGN!!!!!!!!!We have a new team this year last year is over stop comparing players it's over for the love of God let it go focus on the future not the past
My current thoughts on the depth chart:
1 - Ali Dibba; Sheridan Sharp
2 - Damien Mayo; Drew Steffe
3 - Kennard Davis; Tyler Bey
4 - Davion Sykes; Jarrett Hensley
5 - Jorge Moreno; Jaheem Webber
RS: Rolyns Aligbe
Holy moly!
I think we'll get and experienced PG to start and you can move Dibba to the 2. If that's how it shakes out I think Mayo and Steffe will both get time backing up the 2 and 3 spots. My current thoughts on the depth chart:

Agreed. I’m anticipating Dibba’s role to be focused more on scoring than distributing.
