One of my biggest issues is that we continue to take 3's when there is absolutely NO ONE near the basket so there is literally zero chance of getting the offensive rebound.
why did we back off recruiting him?Avila is so damn good
Not verified but many have said that the staff actually CHOSE Cade over him. If that doesn't tell you all you need to know about their ability to recruit, then nothing does. Cade is a GREAT kid, but even when 100% healthy will almost assuredly not be nearly as good as Avila

Good in-bounds play to Hensley at the end of the half to go into the locker room with momentum. Could be much worse.

East to sit here after the fact…..Cade was a highly celebrated recruit on this board and a 3* correct?
They would have sat avila behind mulia anyway, just seems moot at this point
It is easy, but I also said it after watching Cade and Avila play in a total of 1 game each. I also am not a PAID recruiter..........and unfortunatley, some of our paid guys shouldn't be.
Avila is probably a much different player at SIU. Still really good but he fits in well to what Schertz does, which is run a modern basketball offense.
