I think we lose this game and it won't be close. Another hot start in November and cold end of the season in March. Somehow, sooner or later, (probably later)Mullins is gonna have to trust his bench players sooner and more often during the season. Think of how Jacobsen played 10 players in the first half at SIU our last home game. Seeing Horndecker still walking in a boot and Avila as MVP first team as a Soph also sickens me...I know hindsight 20/20 and all that but every year I feel like this is THE year and I'll be damned if every year Lucy takes away the football. As long as I am listing all my grievances, I might as well throw in Domask and Jones (and to a lesser extent Banks) jumping ship. The portal has done nothing but allow SIU to tread water. Maybe the "Portal Whisperer" will live up to his repuation. At least Luke Martin filled in nicely for Mike Reis. Ah Bah. Humbug. Prove me wrong Dawgs.
