I want to see that look in the eyes for both Marcus and Lance; that determination and fire that upperclassmen team leaders get where they'd rather die than lose, and you can see it on their faces before the balls even tipped. That same type of look that Tatum and Tony Young had many years ago.
Its time, boys. We're ready.

Garbage half. SIU is very lucky to be down 5
Guardplay. Not good.
I knew I should have bet when I saw that line. Way too generous. Easy money
When Rich Herrin was at SIU he had numerous challenges when he started, but one thing that he always demanded was rebounding. SIU is lucky if they have one guy under the basket when a shot goes up on the offensive end. These are fundamentals that aren't being coached up by this staff.
Just heard the fans booing as they went to halftime. SIU's basketball team has to step up! Golden opportunity to market the team to folks that may not always make it to a game.....and right now those folks are thinking about what else they could be doing.
C'mon Bryan Mullins....Let's Go!
Underwhelming half of basketball. We shoot too many 3's and don't rebound well enough to warrant the volume taken given our shooting percentages from deep.

Other guys have to step up when Jones or Domask is having a bad game. This team doesn’t have enough good players, particularly the guards
Unlike Murray State, Belmont has a good coach.
The advancement and diffusion of knowledge is the only guardian of true liberty.
James Madison
0-10 from three
Belmont looks poised and well-coached. Our guys look very unsure and unable to find open shots. Really stinks. We look like a 500 valley team right now.
Bow Em
Also, we still have some guys playing too many minutes and producing very little.
We have the depth, right now, to push these guys continuing to get so much run with little to show for it..

I heard those boos, was wondering what they were for, can't imagine that the fans were booing the team because that honestly wasn't that bad of a half. I mean, yeah, we are losing by 5, but its 5, not 20. And if just 30% of those threes we took had gone in we would be up by 4. I just assumed something else happened they were booing, can't imagine it was the team. When Rich Herrin was at SIU he had numerous challenges when he started, but one thing that he always demanded was rebounding. Starrick: 0 - 10 from three . SIU doesn't attack the basket!
Live and die by the three.
That is a recipe for losing.
They haven't shot that great but did make 3 threes - we outscored them in the paint.
So the positive is we are only down 5 and have played like absolute garbage.
