Scottie Ebube time!

These are the types of games where I see him simply over powering his competition.  I'll take what I see with a grain of salt, considering the competition, but i do believe that tonight at least it will indeed be CLOBBERING time for Ebube.

Can Hensley play until the staff gets clarification whether he is eligible or does he have to sit out until the clarification

No, he has to be cleared before he can play.

thank you hate all these portal rules

Precisely what is at issue?

It looks to me like the NCAA is saying that everyone gets that first transfer and they can play right away. But if you want to transfer a second time, you better have an incredibly good reason or you're going to have to sit out a year first, just like it was in the "old" days.

If that is the case you would think the powers at be would make these decisions a little quicker so as teams know who they have available and I am sure if this someone transferring to a P5 school it would be resolved by now

The only thing is that you make the faulty assumption that the NCAA even cares when or whether they make a decision about anything. The NCAA has always taken forever to decide anything, no matter what kind of decision is being made.

Time to dust off the cobwebs and poke my head in here again.  Glad that the site's still running, but considering what the hoops may look like this season, I might put the cobwebs back in place and seal it up for another year.

I really have NO idea what to expect, other than maybe a .500 year at best in Valley play.  I can't see this team doing anything beyond possibly reaching the Valley semis in St. Louis, so it's gonna be another year without a postseason, as much as I'd LOVE to see us back in one of any sort.

I think this is good for college basketball in the long-term but obviously sucks for the players (and us) in the short-term.  Will also make the portal more of a challenge going forward, which is a problem because it seems like we're relying on the portal again this offseason judging by the lack of any HS commits.

Hopefully Bucky tweets something out 30 minutes before.  I'm listening to the pregame broadcast though if they say anything.
