They're in the NIT anyway so we will have to wait

If we're going to hire Mullins, that sucks. We need someone to get on the stick and save our recruits. The NIT won't be over for two weeks. And the Final Four (again) won't be over for three weeks!

Excited to see who the new coach will be, hope it works out for SIU, I'm sure it's not as easy as it seems to make that decision

Loyola isn't going to be playing far into March this year

Are those sources still this website?

I think it’s a foregone conclusion Mullins is the next guy. But I have two questions. Do you think Kill has a search, or just hires him as soon as Loyola’s season is over?

Other question is who do you think is on his staff?

I think Will Wade may be available-LOL!!

I can think of some candidates that are older than Mullins, with ties to Southern ILL that would be great additions as assistants.  Brian is young and it might not hurt to have an older, experienced coach on the bench and at practice.

Is Kill required to wait until after all post season play is done?   Football coaches are hired while teams are still playing.  I seem to remember that Hinson was hired when Kansas was in the final four.

Hinson was never a coach at KU.  He was there in an administrative role only.

If you're gonna reply to me in the forums, please quote what I wrote that you're replying to so I have a clue...thanks! 😀

He is not required to do anything. Just professional to wait until the target is done. Kill is and will continue to be professional

What are the odds Brian frees his older brother Brendan from Illinois State and hires him as one of his assistants.  He has two or three other positions open to him for more experienced guys.
