Think he would be a terrific assistant coach. He has proven to be a great recruiter at JA. With Mullins and his recruiting connections, plus Smithpeters’ connections we could definitely get the ball rolling on getting talent back into Carbondale!
I can almost guarantee Bryan brings in his brother. Not sure who the others will be
Sorry if it's already been posted, but SIUE is also looking for a coach. Harris is out. His record was horrendous. If Hinson's contract had the same kind of clause as the ousted preident Dunn, he would go up there to earn the rest of his money and would coach the E 🤣

Beane is interested in that job. I have no problem at all with Anthony but I would prefer he did not get it

Which Beane are you talking about?
Anthony Beane sr is up for the job st the E
So we lose Darius and Jimmy Beane. Are we losing that much if Mr. Beane goes to the little E? If we get Mullins, we will get stronger recruits? No?
Also, the confiscated sign during the SLU game in 2011 read “Where’d the offense go?”. I had a couple other signs that game, but that last wasn’t happy with us in the Dawg Pound.

Not the end of the world but I really like Darius and Jimmy is supposed to be a stud
This is going to be a total rebuild. I am not worried about two players. SIU will have zero people in the paint that have experience next year.
You have Cook McGill Gooch and the 4 redshirts plus two freshman coming in ( I say two because I do not Believe Peyton ends up here)
i don’t know if Cook or McGill have graduated but if either has it has transfer portal written all over it. Now I know nothing about the redshirts except Schafer who is a shooter. The two recruits if we can keep them are both fairly solid
without the beane’s And the 2 seniors that leaves us Gooch and 6 freshman .
Bryan is going to need bodies fast I have faith
,
I would be curious to know how many players from the Chicago Wolves have ended up at Loyola since Bryan has been involved there.

To my knowledge Loyola has three IL Wolves players coming in.

That is correct. They beat out Florida State and Wichita for one of the guys.

I will be very honest.... I think Jimmy and Darius stick it out at SIU as opposed to going to SIUE... That is a huge step down.

I was actually thinking the same thing. Darius has professed he really likes it here. If Mullins comes in and puts on the full court press to keep them, I'm not convinced Darius would follow. I only mention Darius because if he stays, I'm 100% positive Jimmy will stay as well, even if Sr. gets the job at the E.
--Insert something witty here--
Darius also saw what it would be like to play at the E this year when we played them. I don’t know any logical reason a player with high aspirations would want to go there.
