Yea I would think Marty gets a hard look

I doubt we could pay him what he's getting at Clemson and I don't see him leaving Brownell, but if Mullins were hired I think Marty would be a great assistant to have on staff.  Bash the guy all you want for his lack of success (if you want to call it that) at Evansville but I think Marty is a tremendous basketball mind and a great teacher of the game.  As a former HC I think he's a great addition to a staff with a HC with no previous experience.

I'm not against Mullins but my experience is that it is a LOT different from assisting the man to being the man.  There is so much more to worry about and be responsible for as a HC.

Another basketball mind I think would make a great assistant (and again unlikely to be here) would be Brad Soderberg.

But if Simmons came here, they'd have to build another Dunkin Donuts near the arena! 😀  Simmons probably makes more as a Clemson assistant than he did as HC at EVansville. He was the lowest paid coach in the MVC.  Soderberg is an assistant at Virginia - not a bad coach if I remember right.

Now that’s not very nice at all 🤣

Apparently Troy Hudson campaigning online pretty hard for the job. Kill reached out to him, I think more out of respect.  I’m not sure what he has been doing since he retired from the NBA.

No, that isn't nice.  Weber had guys on staff that for the most part were good basketball minds-Watson, Painter, and yes even Lowery.  We haven't had that kind of staff in years.  Years.

Yeah didn't you ever see the episode where Jim Rome said the album had gone "tin foil" for selling a total of 70 copies in the first week?

I saw a post by Hudson on a Reis Facebook post about the Kill presser. Something to the effect... Tell him to stop by Minneapolis, I’m a good fit...

Maybe next Monday, but probably by the end of next week. According to Kill in his press conference yesterday.

I wonder if Lowery would consider Hudson as an assistant if he got the job?

Chris is not going to be the new coach. Period!
