Doubt we get a press conference today given no leak or announcement yet. We’re probably looking at Wednesday at earliest given that Loyola is in Omaha tomorrow.

Loyola a 7 seed is matched against Creighton a 2 seed at 9 pm Tuesday. Loyola's season will likely be over Tuesday night. So Wednesday seems to be at a likely date.

The football position is a lot lower profile than the MBB position. And Nick Hill didn’t have a game to coach the next day. It’s possible all parties mutually agreed on letting Mullins coach in the NIT, at least the first game.
