Whew! Clutch FTs by KD and JH. I was really worried with no Clarence and an exhausted XJ.
Belmont lost and UNI is about to lose to the Redturds.
Scary stuff. But they were up to it.
Maybe we can go into StL without thinking we need to depend on Johnson.
(Inflammatory political snark)
Clutch FT shooting down the stretch. Don't think Kennard and Hensley were the plan with 1 and 1s but 4/4 from the line.
Never seen so many cops in a handshake line lol
Saluki Insider? I barely know her!

They were there to protect the refs from Prohm. LOL

Outside of Drake. SIU can beat anyone in this league. An abundance of parity.
That makes 5 in a row over the venerated (by some) Racer Scum.

I think Hensley showed he deserves more playing time. He can sky and tonight he made those bunnies. Some really big rbs too.
Good to see guys like him, Davis, Ferguson upping their game.
AJ didn't play much - I'm thinking he wasn't 100%.
XJ - 40 mins 7 pts 1 - 12 and 8 TOs but had 9 assists and 5 steals
TD - 40 mins 20 pts
TB - 39 mins 11 pts
KD - 24 mins
AJ - 18 mins
JH - 18 mins 15 pts
Watson mentions XJ's excessive minutes showing up.
SIU all alone in 4th.
I’ve been hard on Hensley at times so I need to make sure to give him his props: he made some huge plays and helped prevent another blown-home-lead debacle. Way to go, Jarrett.
X has carried the team so often this season, so really nice for the other guys to return the favor in a game they needed to win.
But good lord … find a way not to have this be the script over and over. Does Southern have records of most blown double-digit home leads in a season?
Jacobi Wood has played virtually the same minutes as XJ has this year and he seems to be doing just fine. Also, XJ has scored 29, 35, 17, 17 & 21pts in the last 5 games. He's also 23 years old. I am not saying XJ should be playing every minute of every game (especially earlier in the seaons during blow outs) but I also do not agree that, just because he's had 1 bad game now, that it's all because of him being tired. Take a look at the list of players that play almost as many minutes as XJ (Boo Buie, Tyler Perry, Baylor Schierman, Dajuan Harris, etc) these are all CRITICAL players on Power 5 schools. This is not an isolated thing.
All due respect, X is clearly gassed. Don’t know how it could be any more apparent.
Tonight it came to a head but he hasn’t been as explosive or efficient much of the conference season.
