Still thinking it’s foolish not to add Murray State. They have an excellent basketball program and their fans turn out for their games. In my opinion Murray State would compete very well in The Valley. Their football program would be in for a rude awakening in The Valley. They would have to significantly up their game to compete.

The MVC may be the weirdest conference in college sports. The MVFC is not the MVC. Some teams play FB in other conferences and some not at all. Some MVC teams play baseball, some don't and some only play BB in the league. Some are members, some are affiliates.

This is interesting. What’s your guess?

Surely not a move to the Valley. Something that big would have leaked by now. Probably announcing some new corporate partnership or something.
Maybe the Big East

It has to do with their athletic facilities.

I saw that but they just built an arena. Unless it is a training facility I’m not so sure

Apparently they're expanding the arena:
Not good news for Wichita State here:
Oh darn those poor Shucks 🤣
I wonder what the next domino is here. I'd imagine that the CUSA will have to look at FCS schools to bring up. I don't know the landscape well enough to tell if that would be the case. It is just my guess. If so, who? North Dakota State? South Dakota State? Missouri State? I'd imagine that if they were to target FCS schools, the MVFC would be the first place they'd look, no matter if they looked at the Summit or the MVC side of the conference.
I think they'd be a step down basketball wise for the MVC, and I question if any MVC team would even take an invite at this point. What do other people think?
FYI, someone correct me if I'm wrong on this. I actually have no idea what the pecking order is in FBS aside from the SEC being on the top. I only watch FCS.
Any news on Murray or UTA?

Conference USA and the Valley were about the same in RPI last year.

Yes, but in NET, which is the only thing that matters, the MVC was considerably better than the CUSA.
