Murray didn't score for most of the second half.
Saluki Insider? I barely know her!
I cannot wait to see the post-game hindsight posters come in and crush all the negative posters (myself included). In our defense, it really did look like a sure loss.
THe alternative is that we find an even MORE devastating way to lose, moreso than Bradley. LOL Here's hoping that doesnt happen.
Even I got negative during the game, which almost never happens. But I will say, in the “hindsight posters” defense, I usually don’t post because I just try to enjoy the game and not be on my phone every spare minute. I assume I’m not alone in that.
I don't know why, but I'm laughing my ass off and have the goofiest grin on my face.

seems odd Ebube doesn’t get more floor time.
I know some don't agree, but players need playing time in a real game. Scottie needs to be getting 20 mins a game - he will improve and help us win some games. Had 18 mins today and he was fine. (needs to shoot a lot of FTs in practice)
We also had 36 rbs to their 22, 8 off. rbs to their 1.
XJ and TB each had 16.
Murray scored 3 points in the last 14:09. For as bad as the Bradley game went, I don't even think SIU played close to that poorly.

/p>
That is an insane game flow diagram lol.
the cherry on top is that it was against Murray State. Going to be a lot of tears in single wide trailers tonight.
Ebube with great extended minutes. Guess that earns him a DNP next game...just joking, hopefully!
Not positive what I witnessed the first half. Absolutely thought it was going to be a blow out on the road. However, I know what I observed second half. Our defensive effort was outstanding, and limited their threes. Our rebounding was much improved, and we were able to work the ball inside. Scottie was the difference in the second half. Rebounding, blocks, steals, deflected passes, and scored inside. Now to improve on those free throws. TB hit some huge threes as well, to bring us back from that deficit. I am certainly hoping we can continue this momentum, beat MSU, and do the same in Chitown next Saturday afternoon.
Have not felt much like posting this, but here it goes. This team continues to surprise. BIG W!
GO DAWGS!!!
Amazing and gritty win.
Ebube has to play major minutes moving forward. No more getting yanked after 1-2 minutes and a single mistake. He only scored two points today but was a game changer.
35-55
Here’s the run
Brown a 3 38-55
D’amico a layup 40-55
Ebube a bunny 42-55
Brown a 3 45-55
Johnson a 3 48-55
D’amico a layup 50-55
Murray with a free throw 50-56
Brown a layup 52-56
Murray dunk 52-58
Brown 4 point play 56-58
Johnson layup 58-58
Johnson layup 60-58
We all knew it was going to happen
Ebube played 18 minutes, had 8 rbs, 2 blocks, and 3 steals! That big presence in the middle really affects the opponents negatively.
Like I've said before, Ebube + Rupert should be 40 minutes every game almost with exception.
16 turnovers in the first 26 minutes and a 20 point deficit.
Just one turnover in the final 14 minutes and a 25-3 run to win.
That's about as diametrically opposite as you can get. Crazy stats.
I had the same thought. I would be surprised if Scottie doesn't get more playing time going forward.
