I would say that Cook made it very close to the point where I can't tell whether or not he touched it based on the ESPN+ angle (there was no replays). The ump is right there and has the best angle of it.
Rhodes did get ejected right after it.
It looked close from the video replays - certainly not obvious that he missed the plate. I would've had some choice words for that ump, too, if I were Rhodes.

Pitching continues to be a problem. Salukis have allowed 12 runs in 8 innings against Jacksonville State.
Yeah so pitching is somehow worse than last year…not good. If they don’t get this figured out soon could be a long year.
