Nice get by Hill. Much needed experience up front. Like to get a few more experienced OL additions. I think that’s the one area of concern this coming season. I like the guys we have but there’s not much depth that’s ready to help.

Don't you think the D line is also an area of concern? I think we added 2 via transfer, but lost just as many, and were woeful against the run last year. I am really worried about both O line and D line. D line more though. We have great players at the skill positions, good LB's and secondary, but the O and D line could be trouble!

Yes. We need Dline depth and Oline depth. Sounds like Dline has played well during spring practices.

Looks like EMU trimmed some of his baby fat and got him down to 316 lbs. Hopefully they got his strength up too. Benching only 245 and being 340 lbs simply won't cut it in college. Wonder what his footwork is now. Fairly poor in high school but that's the norm for those monsters. Definitely a frame that warrants the time to be put by our coaches.

Yeh the D line was not great last year. We were 8th in MVC rushing D (and 8th in total D - slightly better on pass D). NDSU had almost 400 yds rushing against us, Mo St almost 300. Gotta fix that. We were also 9th in kickoff returns - not good.
Had the best punting in the league - hope we can replace Colquhoun.
I hate to be negative, but If this kid is an upgrade on our DL, then things really are in bad shape there. But maybe he will help--hope so.
