I think so but have heard nothing on him. I know he has a Vanderbilt offer but I think he would have signed on already if they were really interested.
Kennedy was a blow, I think he was Option A until Howard came along. I like Tevin Smith but he can’t headline your transfer class in an offseason where you lost your two best players. If he goes elsewhere, I’d start to really panic.

There is an absurd amount of good players in the portal and more each day.
Until we start signing guys from Rend Lake, I’ll be patient.

Vandy signed three forwards so either they backed off or he backed off. He is still available. Pretty impressive stats coming out of high school:

Stay tuned ... summer school starts next month, so safe to say May is a large month for this program.
If Langston is really not decided this week, we might be waiting another week for a commitment unless we had more guys on campus.
I do think SIU can wait on Langston and recruit guards. Worst case scenario is you don’t upgrade the frontcourt and Cade and Ebube take on bigger roles.

@siu-grad-87 we just had guys on campus that haven’t signed anywhere yet. It’s very possible that one could sign. They don’t have to commit DURING their visit.
@siu-grad-87 The deadline is for athletes to enter the portal without needing to sit a year not sign (assuming they are transferring for the first time). Any entries after the deadline would be required to get a waiver to have immediate eligibility for next year. This also doesn't apply to grad transfers. They can enter whenever.

Im not quite an insider in Saluki Athletics but pretty sure Allick has been here. He would be the prime target I’d think. I honestly don’t know, I’m just saying that because Wilson and Allick were here and are uncommitted, they obviously could commit before next week if they wanted.
I didn't know that Allick had been on campus recently. That would be good news.
