On a different note, I’d like to take this opportunity to announce I’m blessed and thankful to have received an offer from Deloitte as a Senior Vice President of Business Systems & Analysis. Blessed🙏. But I think I’ll chose Enterprise Rent-A-Car instead.

Honestly, no trolling here. And sorry if I’m coming off as a douche per @Maroonloon (although I’m not sure what insecurities he’s talking about). Regardless, I do think it behooves us to care about what SEC/BIG10 fanbases thing about us because it directly affects our program’s ability to recruit. It’s not a bad thing to read the room and know where you fit in.
Flat out, when we say “he chose SIU over any SEC school” we look like idiots, and that directly affects the program’s fundraising and recruitment. Let’s be more intelligent of the college football ecosystem please.
