Both of our QB commits for 2024 are having stellar final seasons of high school football.

Not good
I wonder if it’s a walk-on situation. Hope he enjoys standing the sidelines for 4 years.
Illinois has zero respect for us
Phuck IllinoisIllinois has zero respect for us
Yes, the hiding illini stuck it to us again. At the end of the day uofi will never consistently compete with their current piers in the big whatever conference. The money will eventually divide all of the BIG MONEY conferences into the haves and have nots, creating yet another level in college athletics. Count on it.
- Bret Bielima has a bad reputation as this type of recruiter in the past
This kid will regret that move when Brett Bulimia starts stealing his food at the training table. 🍔 🍔 🍔
Shoulda stuck with a skinny coach!
When he wants to “transfer down” (what a weird term), tell him to go to abNormal and hang up the phone.
From Rivals.com:
Mt. Carmel (Ill.) senior athlete recruit
(6-foot-2, 180 pounds) was originally committed to Southern Illinois University but has decided to flip his commitment and Sisson has given the University of Illinois has verbal commitment. Sisson, who has accepted a Preferred Walk On roster spot with Illinois breaks down his decision here.
"Illinois already has all of it's 2024 offers out and technically I'm accepting a PWO offer," Sisson said. "It was really hard to call the coaches at SIU and tell them my decision and they have been great to me. In the end I just couldn't pass up an opportunity to play football for Illinois and attend a Big Ten school."

He's not smart enough to play for us. A PWO to sit on the bench over a full ride presumably and a real chance to play at SIU?
He'll transfer down to Quincy eventually, assuming they have a helmet large enough for his ego.

Forget Sisson, we have two good QB prospects coming in next year between Jake Curry, Edwardsville, IL and E.T. Harris, Kentucky Country Day, Louisville.
