Sykes looks like he can play and Southern needs players. Looks like Steffe’s dad is an honorary assistant coach. I’m also hoping it doesn’t adversely affect the chances of keeping Davis.

I noticed Steffe’s dad re-tweeting the Sykes commitment news too. That seems like a great family. Hopefully things go well and they stay happy.

Steffe’s dad has known Sykes for years based on one of his tweets yesterday so I’m sure that connection came into play.

Reading the Bears board they really liked Mayo. If he commits I think he may be a fan favorite at Southern. Like I said previously, he's a real junk yard dawg with high bball IQ. Regarding Bey, he was really highly touted coming out of prep. Seems like he played a decent amount until early January and then found the end of the bench under Ford. His upside is huge. A 6'8" wing that is super athletic and had range in HS! I think Nagy and staff would be better suited to develop a player like Bey than Ford. If Nagy and staff can help develop Bey and Steffe those two have big time talent.
