@salukiworld I still have my Wonders Saluki Jersey.  I wish he had stayed.

I do too. Even if you make the argument that Brown has had a good season at the 2, Brown is gone in March (or April if Southern makes the Final Four) whereas Wonders has two more years. Wonders clearly had talent; it's a shame he and the coaches couldn't get on the same page about his playing time and future.

There is a lot of roster-building work to be done in the backcourt this spring.

Don't see Wonders ahead of Davis or Ferguson that would've been his position as I don't believe he is a good defender he would have been a liability on defense spelling Brown but that is my opinion

Glad Wonders had a good game. He was definitely a good shooter. I thought he had trouble guarding athletic players and being guarded by athletic players. Wish him and the other ex-Salukis nothing but the best, except when Banks plays us.

I still feel the loss of Verplancken was the biggest loss other than the two obvious ones.

Filewich is having a nice season for Wofford, averaging around 9/9. I don't really want him back, but I'm glad he has found a home.

BTW, he is actually a worse FT shooter than Ebube! I had forgotten that he was terrible at that.

In that game he once again played "too many minutes" at 35.  In fact, 6 starters, between the two teams, played more than 35 minutes, including one @ 37 minutes, one @ 38 and one @ 39 minutes.  I watch WAY more basketball than my wife wants me to (it's one of my vices) and it is incredibly common for a player to play 35-38 minutes per game.  I assure you, it is not just an XJ (SIU) scenario.

Illinois/Purdue tied at 64 with 4:15 left on Peacock.  Jones is struggling but Domask is coming up big in the clutch

Marcus has to be all-conference. Jones All-Newcomer. Mast All-Gargoyle. Krikke All-GladToGetTheHellOutOfValpo.

Good for Lance. He has really helped Purdue. Could have helped us more if he hadn't been at the point.
