There is an assistant coach at Central Arkansas named Matthew Scherbenskes.(SP) He is ranked 53rd in recruiting in the country by Evan Daniels. He played basketball at Oak Hill and Kentucky. UCA was a 2 win program before he got there. From what I hear from top recruiting insiders, Matt pulled an Oak Hill and Sun Rise kid to UCA last year. They won 18 games.
He would make an excellent second or third assistant on the recruiting trail. I believe he is from midwest too? I hope Mullin goes after this kid.
They didn't win 18. They were like 14-19. Who is Evan Daniels and who else is on his list?

Evan Daniels is a recruiting analyst. He's worked with Sports Illustrated, 247 and Scout.
Evan Daniels is the number 1 recruiting analyst in the country. And you're right, they only won 14 last year, but 18 the year before. Most of their best players look to be freshman and sophomores though. We need to get top players here and assistants are huge in recruiting. Also Evan's list is the top recruiters overall. It includes head coaches. Being 53 puts this kid one behind Bill Self. Just saying, it's someone Mullin should explore.
