Can't say it's very encouraging if Nagy doesn't poach any players or coaches from Wright State. I know he doesn't want to step on toes but SIU's situation is pretty dire right now. He also mentioned how players at Wright State might be pissed at him for leaving abruptly after telling them how important it was to be a Wright State Raider so that's not great.
As I said, Nagy is a veteran coach that should attract good assistants and has built good staffs before so I'm not totally worried yet. Hopefully bringing over a few coaches leads to potentially a few transfers that help build next year's team.

Nope….sources say there should be some good news shortly….if they don’t come to fruition, I’ll be disappointed. I have been open about the floorburnU collective.

The two big takeaways after listening.
1.He said only one coach from Wright State will be coming to SIU. He never provided a name. He said he will be player development coach.
2. He said no players currently on the Wright State roster will be coming to Southern. He said he would never ask or encourage them to come because of his loyalty to his former staff.
"We're thrilled to have most of our staff hired," Nagy said. "I think some of the guys provide good continuity while others will provide us with life and new ideas. The main thing is they are all going to help in recruiting and that is the most important piece of what we do. I'm happy to have them here and we're excited to get started."
