Lance Jones led Evanston (31-4) with 18 points with a supersectional win over Stevenson. Evanston plays Rockford East Friday in a semifinal game for the 4A championship.

Belleville beats Evanston 71 - 59 in a very close games (BW got a bunch of FTS last few minutes.) Smaller Evanston couldn't hit a three last night and BW killed them inside (57% shooting.) This was a 2 pt game with under 4 minutes to go.
Lance Jones is going to be one of the most exciting Saluki guards in years. Really quick and a great passer who can score. Had 13 in the 2nd half last night, mostly by leaving defenders in the dust and scoring layups.
Hopefully SIU is able to keep their recruiting class intact. We'll see how it plays out with the new coach.
