the grid needs an update cuz i'm getting confused, but i don't think we would have any more open scholarships for 2021. Jakolby Long is going to be a senior i think, so he wouldn't impact 2021, however Chris Cross would possibly be on scholarship for his second season which takes one of the open scholarships away. Then if we land Foster Wonders we would be filled up. Im sure, as always, there would be a chance someone will transfer, but as of now, we would be filled...... i think.
Had to edit this cuz i forgot Scottie Ebube, so then by my count we are already full and Wonders would put us one over.
I haven’t seen anything to indicate Cross will be on an athletic scholarship after next year. And I have a hard time thinking they wouldn’t take a kid like D’Amico or Sayles (or an impact transfer, which would also be nice) to make room for Cross, who was not a highly recruited player.
And check your math ... right now there are two seniors plus one open scholarship for this coming season. Ebube and Wonders would still leave one open ride for 2021.
A class with Ebube and Wonders and either D' Amico or Sayles would be awesome. Hopefully we aren't getting the horse before the cart. Right now the only commit is Ebube hopefully early next week will bring good or even great news.

Other than Domask and Jones, the other underclassmen and commits still have everything to prove ... but there is a LOT of incoming young talent to this program over the next couple years. Those roster projections in 2021 and beyond are getting awfully tantalizing. If the world can get back on track and college basketball returns to "normal," the next few years have the chance to be an awful lot of fun.
It's an appropriate evening to break out the maroon kool-aid.
