Welcome Foster! The Saluki future is bright!
Keep an eye out for Anthony Sales in the spring...if he wants to sign they will find a scholly. If they get him, this would be a monster class! It’s an awesome class even if they don’t 😁

Mason - 3 star Rivals. With this offer, I wonder if we on the "outs" with Anthony Sayles? With our guard heavy roster, I still think we need more front court help.

Theoretically next year they'll have Muila, Ebube, Dembele and Filewich (along with Domask and D'Amico as versatile wings), so the frontcourt should be in pretty solid shape going forward, but we'll have to see who's healthy and able to contribute.
And is there a chance D'Avanzo could be back next year? I've given up trying to do the scholarship calculations with the COVID situation, but I do know there are only so many minutes to go around. 😀
If my understanding is correct, as of right now, the 2020-2021 season will not count against anyone's eligibility. So, it seems that any decisions to return or move on next year will be entirely up to the student athlete. Something obviously will need amended for maximum scholarship allotment if this holds though. No idea what's being tossed around to remedy that situation.
Assuming there's a return to normalcy next year, 21-22 could be big for experienced teams outside the P5.

Yeah, if the scholarship limits are not increased it will be bad for potential hs recruits.

Even assuming they are, I'm not quite sure how it's going to work out from a practical standpoint. Even in a normal year, with 13 scholarship players, teams usually only play 9-10 guys in the rotation, so having 15-plus players on the bench, in an era when redshirting has fallen out of favor, seems rather thorny.
For SIU, there are only two seniors on this year's roster (D'Avanzo, Long), so even if one or both of them wanted to return, it wouldn't be AS much of a personnel logjam as for some other teams with more seniors, but there are a lot of talented youngsters entering the program this year and next who will need playing time. Guess we'll see how it all plays out.
Get in late on Michael Foster. What can it hurt? If he goes one of his pro options then you don't have to worry about a scholarship. If he only stays a year or two? Oh well. He is playing prep in Arizona but is from Wisconsin.
Can anyone find ANY real highlights on Scottie Ebube ? I have seen plenty on D'Amico and Wonders but nothing for Ebube.
Tonight's Iron Mountain game was postponed. I was hoping to check out Foster in action, but that will have to wait. Hopefully they get back on the court soon !!!
PJ Edwards looks to commit tomorrow. He has been said to be the "best wing defender in North Carolina", which includes several High Major Di commits. 6' 5" 205lb (DIV I ready physique) who shots over 40% from 3pt. I think this kid would be a HUGE commit for the program and what Mullins is trying to do.
