6'8 Junior from Overland Park, Kansas.  Averaged 10.5 PPG, 5.5 RPG.

This is the kind of player we need! Athletic forward who can shoot and rebound! I remember him from the ncaa tournament. I am guessing he would step in and start at the 4 for us if he was given immediate eligibility! I don't think he is a grad transfer so he would have to be granted a waiver to play right away.

All academic too! Let's get this guy!!!!

Nobody has to sit a year. It is a free transfer year

I thought this was not final and was to be voted on by the ncaa board in their April meetings. I just googled it and I don't see anything regarding the April meetings being completed or that the eligibility rule has officially changed. If it is official I haven't been able to find it. It does however sound like the rule change for 21-22 will most likely pass at the board meetings. If you have a link, please post. Thanks.

D'Amico has been named IBCA all-state in 3A and Ebube has been named all-state in 4A. Sayles is also all-state in 3A. I am guessing ISHA may not name an all-state teams this year, as I cannot find anything for 2021 under IHSA.

What happened to Sayles?  Is he still not committed anywhere?

This guy was at Coffeyville CC before going to Central Michigan. Wonder if he's tight with Coffeyville PG who SIU is a finalist for, and if so, if that would create the possibility of a package deal, if Southern could find a second scholarship. Would fill both apparent needs: veteran PG depth and an athletic wing.

Think it's been mentioned before that he might have eligibility problems and he might be going the JUCO route because of it.  To me, he was the 2nd best player on that Notre Dame team behind Lesmond in the games I watched so there's no reason he shouldn't be a D1 athlete somewhere.

He will be going the juco or prep route. I imagine our coaches may stay in contact for a possible commitment down the road. SIU had a very good shot at landing him had circumstances been different.

Don't believe everything you read on a player's twitter account.  😉

Brandon Carroll, 6'7" Wing, entered the Transfer Portal as a Grad Transfer from D2 Florida Southern.   Averaged 16.4 PPG, 4.5 RPG, 1.9 Steals, and .9 Blocks this season.  Shot 37.5% from 3pt.

Spent three years on roster at D1 Bryant University. He red shirted his freshman year and then played in 42 games, starting 14 over his next two years there.  He averaged 4.9 PPG and 3.5 RPG in his two year playing career at Bryant.

I would say "he has a chip" and will work to prove he is a D1 athlete utilizing his skill level!

Abiliene Christian was one of the teams I drafted in my 1k pool, as a result I watched many of their games.  He would be a significant upgrade in athleticism, rebounding, defense and scoring at the 4.
