I was in the keep Bryan camp as well, but make him get a few seasoned assistants. That being said we should all give this guy a chance if it's true.

You mean treated with a press release that was nationally made fun of because of how nice it was to him? Or are you talking about him being fired? Most coaches are taking over for someone who was fired.
Mullins was NOT treated badly. Basketball coaches that don't meet expectations get fired. I think he walked away with a year of salary too.
As far as I can tell, he was not frog-walked off the premises by security guards, nor were his belongings removed from his office and dumped outside the arena. Those are the hallmarks of old-fashioned, cold-hearted firings. This one, whether justified or unjustified, falls well short of that.

@siu_2011 How many people who watched (really watched) felt Mullins could coach a top level Valley team. No offense, no time out plays and no incoming recruits. Why extend.

If it is Nagy, I'd think it would be a priority for him to consider retaining Howard to help him navigate the portal and maybe build a bridge to potentially re-recruit some of our key departures.
This would certainly be a contrast from Bryan Mullins in style, experince and age. With the right coaching staff around him and an uptick in NIL funding, I could see this going well.
