Tim Finke was a consensus 4 star out of high school. Would be a great pickup for the future. Would have to sit out a year. I like Barret Benson, transferring from Northwestern, 6'10 C. Played for the Illinois Wolves and would be eligible to play right away.

There’s a reason finke ended up at Grand Canyon. I do think he’d be a good fit for SIU but he really struggled in AAU the final two summers. Seems he was overrated. I do think he would be a great 4 year player and siu should try and get him.
Don't know much about him or if SIU would have an interest, but saw that Andrew Morrissey from Winnebago, IL is transferring from North Alabama. Played sparingly for them, but is 6'9" 235 and averaged a double-double in both his junior and senior years in high school.

Don't want to read too much into a 18 year old's social media account but Chris Payton did like SIU Basketball's newest video showing Mullins working with the players. Maybe he still puts on a Saluki jersey next year...

I think he will come. I think all the recruits come and the Beanes stay. I think the video with Darius in it means absolutely nothing though. Of course DB is working out with Mullins and the team he is still on scholarship with SIU. He can still decide to transfer whenever he wants. He probably does not know and not coming to work out is a stupid move in case he does stay.
