Not necessarily. The signing period that starts tomorrow runs for a month. We may not sign anyone tomorrow, but that doesn't mean we are out of luck.
If we can hang onto the Beanes and Payton that would be huge.
Yes it would... That gives us a very good, very young nucleus to build around. Throw in Lance Jones and I am starting to get really excited. Gotta hope one of our bigs turns out to be good.

Shocked we havent heard anything regarding new recruits yet. Hopefully we will soon.
Doesn't surprise me at all that we don't know anything. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if we don't know anything tomorrow or even in a few days. Its a new staff with a million things going on. There is no priority to announce anything. The priority is to get the ducks in a row for the long term. This stuff will all take care of itself, sooner than later. Would love to see 3 or 4 signed recruits tomorrow but not gonna be surprised if we don't.

It's my understanding that if Payton did sign the LOI, and academically qualifies for admission, SIU cannot pull his scholie for at least one year. These LOI's are designed to protect the student. This is another reason for Bryan stating he is still coming. Bryan can't stop him.
