Nice. Gives the team next year a much better chance to be competitive, as the frontcourt was a glaring concern. Still could use another decent option at the 4/5, but this helps quite a bit.

Next year is looking much better than most of us thought a few weeks ago. Mullins and his staff are doing tremendous work.

Benson SEEMED to lack high side offensive abilities and was often in foul trouble (averaging 7 fouls per 40 minutes played) but brought a TON of energy, defense and leadership. I'm glad he chose SIU and I'm happy to have his experience, energy and defense and immediate eligibility. : )
