Big guards who can guard. Guys who can hit a three. Bryan Mullins coaching them. Was I in a car accident in March? Am I in n a coma? Is this real? Please confirm, one way or the other.

I think you and I are in the same stroke/coma recovery group. I'm still working on dealing with the concept of having a coach who works his @ss off.

The Heffer has some info: One more Karrington Davis note for @SIU_Basketball (and you fine people), the Nebraska transfer told me he signed his financial aid agreement Wednesday so he is in for the 2019-20 season. Has to get a waiver to be eligible right away, but he has signed with the #Salukis.
I'm not sayin' -- I'm just sayin'!
According to Heff, Davis has 2 to 3 months left of rehab on Achilles tendon before he can practice full bore.
So September or October. Still waiting on waiver decision.
Obviously Southern is full up on scholarships now but this is a grad transfer from Eastern Kentucky that Southern had been linked to this spring/summer:
Stefan Kenic, 6'9", 230, Sophomore Power Forward, just entered the Transfer Portal from Cleveland State. He should be eligible immediately due to their Head Coach change. As a Sophomore, he started 31 games, averaged 9.2 points and 4.1 rebounds. Shot 42.9% FG, 32.8 3pt%, 71.4 FT%, as a Sophomore.

Does SIU have ties to him or are you just reporting that this kid hit the transfer portal ?
Just reporting. No inside info.
Looked like a good candidate to replace William with a good possibility of being immediately eligible. Bringing Kenic on would be similar to a JUCO prospect on class balance, but he already has 2 years D1 playing experience.

Got it - TY !!!! I figured, but was hopeful for more. LOL
Another link to an article on Kenic and Cleveland State Men's Basketball.
We still need a big guy....crickets.
School starts in less than 2 weeks, looks like we will be extremely thin in post depth.
No one has any info on this situation? And yes, it's a tough recruiting spot to be in.
Was hoping for another big as well, but the time crunch is probably insurmountable for a quality player at this point. Guess we roll the scholly and try for one (or more) next year.
March on triumphantly!

The Malik William departure hurts, moreso for the future, as he may not have been eligible this year, anyway. As for this season, hopefully Benson and Dembele stay healthy and Domask is ready to play big minutes as an undersized 4.
