Hopefully SIU is able to keep their recruiting class intact. We'll see how it plays out with the new coach.

according to Schmidt Bros. at prepbullseye we have offered 2019 C Ciaran Brayboy of New Trier HS. Also after him: Yale, Southern IL, UW-Milwaukee, Columbia, DePaul.
I'm not a recruiting guru but I don't remeber his name from old site. Although I feel like it since I beat Underdoosh to the scoop of finding someone else's recruiting news.
Brayboy is going to Harvard.
Here is what I would like to see in addition to our current class
1/2 JUCO/transfer bigs- need immediate impact up front. Would be best to let dembele and fall develop another year from reports I've read.
1 frosh PG- after next season, Darius/Lance Jones will be the only natural guards on our team (potentially swedura as well depending on how he develops). Get a young pg in here to redshirt and develop.
1 more freshman big- again, we need bodies up front. Especially if Payton doesn't land here.
There are plenty of good high school players still available.
-The Tchoua kid from Benet could be a solid 6'7 PF for us down the road. He is teammates with Crothers ('20 recruit) and they both happen to play for the IL Wolves 😉

Mullins says he has talked to Chris and Chris is excited. Also says he knows Chris through his brother. Certainly sounds like he is in Mullins plans and at least for now Chris is still planning on coming to SIU.
If and it is still a big if Chris comes. SIU has 2 open rides for next year
Grad transfer Big and a Juco Big would make me happy
if the third rides opens up a guard would probably be the best choice

I know not necessarily a "big" but do you guys anything about the intentions of Jayden Scrubb from John A? Can't see him staying in juco very long and was hoping he'd land at Southern. First time poster but I really appreciate everything about this site. Great place

Has to stay at Logan another year because he was a non-qualifier. Talent-wise, he could play at any school in the country. And that is not an exaggeration. Extremely doubtful he would ever end up at SIU.
