Great news indeed, welcome aboard Mr. Banks! I watched a couple of videos, he is pretty slick.

It's hard for me to discern how good this young man is at this time from the videos, but I trust the staff more than did their homework. He looks to be fast with a very quick first step. This is a seeming perfect match with the added emphasis on outside shooting, i.e. Trent, Harwin.
I believe this also sends a signal to other recruits that SIU is back on the map with high quality and early signings. Perhaps this will help OTHER potential recruits make the same choice !!!
Either way, I believe SIU is going to be a VERY good team next year (not that I'm necessarily discounting this year by any means).

Yea, we have three scholarships left for 2020 at this point. Barrett will only be here for one year. The jury is still out on Dembele with his injury and lack of experience , so we need front court help.
We will lose our top 2 pg’s after this year. I totally understand still recruiting them. Plus, our commitment hasn’t signed yet.
