Does anyone know of other instances of someone making the jump from D2 to D1 and the success or lack thereof? (This whole transfer thing is relatively new, so there might not be a whole lot of data out there, which is why I'm asking here instead of trying to research this.)

I was thinking more along the lines of recent players going through this transfer process--playing three years at D2 and then going to D1 for their last year.
