Speaking of recruits, Dalton had an off night on Friday with only 14pts, 10 rbds and 6 assts. 😉 😉
Dalton struggled from the field last night only converting 4 of 13 shots and hitting only 1 of 3 shots from the FT line, but still nearly finished with a triple double with 9pts, 8rbs and 8asts. I read one publication where he is now rated the 2nd best prospect out of WI this year !! If this continues, I may start liking the cheese state for more than just Spotted Cow!

Yep, says we offered A.J. Staton-McCray today. 3 star on 247 and has an offer from DePaul. 6’5 shooting guard. He’d be a huge get.
I'd like to see many more names under the PF and C categories on that grid.

This is me (admitted non expert on this subject) reading between the lines and making assumptions (which is always dangerous). Yes, we are recruiting bigs (and knowledgeable others on this board have so posted).
If we are not/do not, our future years on the road will look a lot like last night's game.

Dalton's game line from Tuesday had one glaring oddity, he finished with 18pts, 11rbs but 0 assists. His outside shooting continued to need improvement as he hit 2 of 8 from deep. Next game is Friday !!!
I'm sure some of this is wishful thinking but I have to believe it holds true. Don't you think that some players out there who haven't decided on where they're going see what this coaching staff is doing with, not only, younger players for the most part but with a severely depleted line up. And don't you think it may positively impact their decision to come here ??!!! Perhaps I snuck a little too much koolaid in my coffee this morning but I'm riding the Saluki wave right now. Steal a win on the road at ISU and then I'll be driving the band wagon !!!!!!!!!
