I don’t believe that at all. 1 scholarship left, maybe 1 transfer opening.
If you’re setting the over-under at 1.5 or even 2 signees this spring, I’ll take the over.

For some reason ECN has lost 3 straight, 2 of which were against teams they beat on the road earlier in the season. Here's hoping he finishes the season strong and does well in the postseason.
Check out the last graph for some promising spring recruiting scuttlebutt ... that is, unless you're in the bigs-or-bust camp. Personally, I'm expecting at least three scholarships to be open this spring.

Love the fact that SIU has been aggressively recruiting Williams, but I also understand that without a difference making low post presence, we're in a world of hurt next season. I firmly believe Mullins & Co are looking for transfers to address the low post needs.
I have absolutely ZERO concerns with regards to the staff signing at least one impact big, either from the JUCO ranks or an eligible transfer. I am not rooting for anyone to leave but I can see Jeremic, Gooch and perhaps another player (from Davis, Francois and Brown). My guess is only 2 total leave along with the graduating seniors.
Agree. Out current roster reflects Coach Mullins' need to fill a roster very late in the recruiting season last year. This was driven by game time and practice needs.
I am not sure who will leave, but I am confident a few (more than one) will leave at the end of the season to make room for the 3 star guard we are pursuing and the 2 bigs I am confident Coach Mullins is pursuing.
Go Dawgs ! ! !
Go Southern Go ! ! !
I'm fine with one impact big and a solid back-up. I'm just not sure we can count on Dembele (and definitely not Jeremic) to be either of those. We HAVE to sign TWO quality bigs. If we get that done, our starting line-up could be very exciting next year: 1PG Cook/Banks 2SG Jones 3SF Harvey 4PF Domask 5C ????

Domask is not a power forward.

Closest thing we have to one.
I agree, that SIU has to come up with two quality low post players for next season. A couple of 6'8" wide bodies would fill the bill. If Mullins can make that happen, next season is going to be a good one. We have the talent at the guard and small forward positions at this point.
Strictly gut feeling, but I think even with AC returning we're looking at 3 open rides, possibly 4. I don't think those departures will include anyone that played a significant role this season either.
