sounds like a lot of high majors are after peterson already - article below from 24/7 sports
One of the top talents from the mid-major level on the traditional transfer market is Drew Peterson. Peterson decided to enter into the transfer portal on Tuesday afternoon. At around 6-foot-8 and 185 pounds, Peterson is a unique talent who can play all over the perimeter and has a track record of success.
With a diverse skillset, Peterson averaged 11.1 points, 6.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game as a sophomore at Rice. He shot 41 percent from the floor and 82 percent from the foul line.
Upon entering the transfer portal, things picked up in a big way for Peterson, and he found his phone very busy.
“I have been talking to my AAU coach and my parents for a few days, so I expected it to be a busy day and it has been that,” explained Peterson. “I have been on the phone non-stop since noon. It has been a busy, busy day.”
When asked who has reached out, Peterson said, “I’ve talked to Virginia Tech, Stanford, Minnesota, Cincinnati, Creighton, Tulane, UCSB and San Diego.”
Peterson went on, “The head coaches that I’ve talked to are (Richard) Pitino at Minnesota and (Joe) Pasterneck at UCSB.”
With interest from schools on all sides of the country, Peterson, who is a native of Chicago, said he is open to playing his final two seasons of college basketball anywhere.
“There is no request location wise,” said Peterson. “I am open to anything. I’ve already been away from home for a few years, so location doesn’t matter. I am looking for the right system fit for my game, and location won’t matter.”
Since he has a unique game in that he isn’t a great athlete, but is very smart, has good size, and plays both with the ball and on the wing, Peterson fits in many different systems.
When asked what kind of system he is looking for, Peterson said, “I have played anywhere from one to three, so I want a system that lets me show that. I like the fast pace style, so I want to see which schools get up and down.”
He continued, “I feel like I can play in a lot of different offenses. One of my favorite things is to create and facilitate, so I want to find a coach who knows what I am capable of doing.”
At this point, Peterson says he is in no hurry to make a decision and wants to research his options before coming to a final decision.
Peterson will have two years of eligibility remaining. Depending on if there is a change to the transfer rules, he will either have to sit one to play two, or he could be eligible right away.

Let's hope we have a polished virtual tour of our facilities since recruits are going to make a decision based on that and skyping and facetiming with coaches.

Since there is virtually no hope of being able to take visits now for this spring period, I expect commitments to come fast and furious in the coming weeks. Hopefully the Dawgs can land a good player or six.

Malik Zachery said he wasn't deciding until mid-May so we're gonna be waiting awhile for at least one of our spots if we really think we have a shot although maybe this changes that:
His decision is still a few months away, however. He’s still holding out hope that the pandemic will not take his ability to officially visit his top five programs.
He has already taken an official visit to Fresno State, but he’s hoping to take a few more before deciding on which one suits him the best.
“If everything goes as planned with us getting on campuses by April 15th, I’ll make a decision by mid-May,” he said.

All Bryan needs to do is show recruits Domask's game winner at home against Missouri State; once they see the arena explode they'll e-sign their commitment on the spot
It seems other valley schools are starting to sign players. I wonder when the first domino will fall into place.

They are getting commitments. They can sign April 15 thru August 1.

Absolutely my misspeak. Just wondering when our first domino will fall, or commit in this case.
