The recruiting period for men's basketball starts today through Nov.10. Coaches are able to do in-home visits and watch workouts.

Just a couple of tidbits I ran across while looking for updates on Saluki 2020 recruits:  ARHoopScoop is reporting that coaches from Arkansas State and Southern Illinois will be in today to see Derrick Reeves, Jr., a 6'3" SG from Marion, AR.  Also, I've seen on a couple of sites that Isaiah Rivera, 6'5" SF out of Geneseo, IL will be announcing his college choice today at 4:30.

Not sure Rivera ever visited SIU so I wouldn't hold my breath on this one. Has at least 20 D1 offers.

Rivera announced he's going to Colorado State.

JALC had an open gym for college coaches. Not sure why we didn't pursue Jay Scrubb 6'6 SG who is considered the #1 rated JUCO player in the country. Anybody know?

Obviously when you offer as many as we have, you can't and don't expect to get them all. The offers that have been made appear to be higher quality players. In basketball you only need a few really good ones to make a difference.
