Eau Claire N. is much larger (1400) and plays much larger schools - Stevens Point, Chippewa Falls, Superior, Onalaska...
Iron Mountain, Escanaba, Hancock Central, Houghton are small schools 250 - 600 enrollment.
Wonders will find the competition way upscaled - doesn't mean he can't be a great MVC player!
(Jerry West played at a tiny HS in W.V. and we know what happened to him!)
Yeah definitely a little different when comparing them but I still think Wonders will be able to hold his own in the Valley. Seemed like he was playing over the Summer against some decent competition including Michigan 4 star commit Kobe Bufkin:
Is Wonders #0 ??
Yeah I think is #0. I would say that it is easier to score being 6” taller, and shooting translates better than any other skill. Banks scored (and still does score) a lot of his points from the interior, which is more difficult as you raise the level, especially as a guard. My question is can Wonders defend, and at what position? I also wonder (haha) how he compares to Domask and Harvey.

34 more points for Foster Wonders
He has 36, 25, 34 points in his 3 games this year
I am as excited as the next Saluki fan about Wonders. I HOPE he can be as good as Domask. That being said, Tommy Murr (Lipscomb recruit) was averaged 44/45 pts PER GAME his jnr and snr year and is a LEGEND in the state of Alabama. He was so good that he............................ has barely played this year at Lipscomb (who is not very good). SO before we get too excited about a young man who is lighting it up, we need to remember the competition level, etc. I'm NOT saying he won't be an integral part of our team in the future, if not next year, but I am cautioning people from making him the savior. IN reality, it as possible that his defense isn't up to par and he doesn't play a lot of minutes next season as it is that he is the Freshmen of the year in the conference.
I'm mostly interested to see what Troy D'Amico is going to do. If any of the incoming freshman are going to be the guy that makes this program take the next step, I'd guess he'd be the guy. Both Edube and Wonders also provide something to be excited about too though!
I absolutely LOVE his size at his position, something this team is in dire need of to take the next step. Admittedly, I've been slightly concerned that he has been the 3rd best player on his team this season, but at the same time, we're looking for another piece to add to the puzzle not a star at each position. June can't get here soon enough to get these kids on campus and start working on getting back to being a top 5 team in the conference and one that could, at least, make some noise in the MVC tourney next year.

I sure hope so. I'd like to believe that this team next year can fit in the top half of a conference that should definitely end up being a multi bid conference. I doubt we will be a regular season champ next year, but I hope that we are good enough to go into Arch Madness next year with a legitimate shot of winning it.
I haven't really followed him on how his senior year is going so far, but like you, I love his size. A 6'7" wing would go a long way with this group!

I expect Damico to help right away..not so sure about the other two!

I expect Ebube to help right away with rebounding.

D'Amico vs. Ebube today at 3:00 PM Central
I love the anxiety about recruits everyone has an opinion who can help who needs to redshirt who has played who the level of competition they have faced I believe in coach Mullins and staff to identify who and what they need to build a program for sustainably rather than giving false hopes on year in year out basis but let us have patience with the recruits and not be to high or to low as they develop for this year's recruits and future recruits
The "announcers" for the ND v Mundelein game said Ebube was 6'10". I thought he was 6'8" ?? If he has indeed grown an inch or two more, that would be an exciting development (pun intended).
I'd expect Ebube by default will come in and contribute next season. He obviously can provide something this team sorely needs right away.

Trying to watch this game is painful. The streaming is terrible.
Wonders was the #6 player in the state FYI. Pretty impressive.
