With a name like Foster Wonders, he's a can't miss! In his spare time, Mike Reis gets out a notepad and jots down all the catchy announcer phrases he will have at his disposal.

"Foster Wonders fostered 8 assists!"

"Foster Wonders was just wonderful tonight ..our player of the game!"

Ebube and Enright both had off games and Mundelein won by 26?  Wonder if this was a blowout from the beginning

Notre Dame/Fenwick going to OT after an impressive comeback by Fenwick.  D'Amico has 9 points:

Oh my goodness Louis Lesmond just hit a game winning half court buzzer beater to give him 35.

D'Amico seems to be Notre Dame's best defender.  He was guarding Kentucky commit Bryce Hopkins all game and held him to around 20.

I haven't seen much of Notre Dame and Lesmond, but dropping 35 against high caliber competition like that, and judging by the numbers he's put up so far this year, Harvard has themselves a heck of a player.

My expectations for D'Amico have definitely gone down.  At this point, I expect him to back up D'Avanzo next year.  I'm not sold on Ebube starting over Filewich or Muila, either.  In my opinion, Foster Wonders is the most likely recruit to make a significant impact next year.  He's bigger, stronger, more athletic, and a better shooter than the guys we've been starting at the 2G this year.

No disrespect to D’Avanzo, but if he’s still around/in the rotation next year, probably a bad sign for making the kind of roster improvement that is needed.

Agree that at this very early stage Wonders seems most likely of the three to push for a starting role.

Do returning players take up scholarships spots?  If so, I don't anticipate D'Avanzo being back.

I would be surprised (although not totally shocked considering the state of the program) if D'Avanzo is back next year for multiple reasons.

Anthony must've heard about all your comments.  He just stuck it up your asses that half with 12 points and was the best player on the floor!

UPDATE:  SIU Player-of-the-game....ANTHONY D'AVANZO!!!!  🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
